On Friday, the social media giant decided to make it easier to post to its trending topics page, but that has not gone down well with some users.
According to a post by Facebook spokesperson, it was an error on Facebook’s part and that they would be rolling out an update to the trending topic page.
Facebook has not responded to Mashable’s request for comment.
“We’re working to resolve this as quickly as possible,” a Facebook spokesperson told Mashable.
“We’ve been working with the affected communities to identify ways we can better respond to their requests.
We will be rolling this out to our trending topics pages this week.”
