Fox Sports Networks is looking to rekindle the success of its original TV series “Crazy Old Asian Dad,” a comedy that explored the origins of the Asian-American family.
Fox is partnering with the streaming service Netflix to bring back the comedy series to the cable networks in 2018.
The original “Crocodile Dundee” and “Curse of the Big Bad Wolf” ran on Fox and Netflix in 2018 and 2019.
The “Craziest Old Asian Family” is set to debut on Fox in 2019.
“Cyrano” will be the first comedy to feature a major cast since “Cocoon,” the 2016 Netflix original about a group of children living in a small New York town.
The network is currently in the midst of production on a comedy about a family in California, which is expected to premiere in 2018 or 2019.
