Ingredients: Ingredients: 3 cups water 3 cups white vinegar (I used a half and half recipe) 1/2 cup white sugar 1/4 cup granulated sugar 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 1 cup flour 2 tablespoons corn starch 1/8 teaspoon baking powder 3 tablespoons vegetable oil 3/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon lemon juice Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend for 10-15 seconds until smooth.
Prepare the recipe.
In a saucepan, heat 1 tablespoon of the water, add in the vinegar, sugar and sugar and whisk until combined.
Stir in the vanilla, corn starch, baking powder and salt and whisk for a minute.
Pour the mixture into a large saucepan and cook for about 30 seconds.
Remove from the heat and set aside.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well.
Pour into a microwave safe bowl and microwave on high for 15-20 seconds.
Check to see if the mixture has thickened.
Let cool for about 10 minutes.
Combine the flour, cornstarch, baking powders, vegetable oil, salt and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl.
Add about a 1/3 cup of the Ferro mixture to each bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of the flour mixture to the bowl and mix.
Stir until everything is combined.
Pour this mixture into your ovenproof dish.
Pour in the remaining Ferro.
Bake for 30-35 minutes.
The longer you bake, the more delicious your Ferro will be.
Serve with a little sugar and butter.
The Ferro recipe has been featured on the ABC Food Network, Discovery and the Huffington Post.
